Cornelia Organics was born as a tribute to my grandmother Cornelia. She met my grandfather while sitting in the chair as a client in his salon. My grandfather and grandmother worked together in that salon for years until my parents (both hairdressers) took over and continued the salon. After having worked abroad for over 10 years and at Ginger Natuurkapper for 5 years, I am now on my own independent adventure.
Cornelia Organics is a Curl Studio and Eco Salon and only uses eco-friendly and organic products. These are better for your hair, your health and the environment than regular products. Cornelia Organics has carefully selected Innersense Organic Beauty as haircare and styling products. All their producs are made of the highest natural and organic ingredients.
Haircuts
Curly hair always has had a big place in my heart. I have been a highly sought-after Curl Specialist for many years now. So embrace your natural texture and let your curls come back to life.
Cutting curls requires a special approach. Before developing my own CorneliaCurls technique I have gone to several trainings, among others at DevaCurl in New York and from DesertCurl studio.
Curls are always cut dry and curl by curl. This technique does not disturb your natural curl pattern. The combination of my own CorneliaCurls cutting method and the Care & Create treatment will have your curls super hydrated and beautifully shaped.
Please take note and come to your curl cut appointment with dry hair that is in your natural curly state. Do not wear an elastic band or a braid. This is to ensure that your natural curl pattern can be seen. It will ensure you will get the best outcome. I am accepting new curly hair clients!
Signature Highlights
Cornelia Organics uses a clean ammonia free lightning powder for highlights. This contains, among other things, silica, white clay and other added minerals for a pleasant scent. This ammonia-free powder can naturally lighten the hair. The activator added to the powder uses a hybrid technology of hydrogen peroxide and is many times milder than regular developers consisting of ammonia or ethanolamine. Due to the lack of strong chemical ingredients, the hair remains in a healthy condition. This way of lightening hair is the most eco-friendly way.
plant Based Color
Plant based coloring gives a beautiful natural result. Grey hair is nicely colored but always remains a bit lighter than your natural hair color, so that you maintain a mixed effect. Keep in mind that grey hair always remains slightly more transparent than the rest of the hair and that you cannot lighten with plants.
